“I have 20/200 vision. If I have eSight on distance mode, I can reach up to 20/20 vision. I go from being legally blind to having perfect vision. I’ve been using eSight since the summer of 2015 when I worked as a journalism intern. I had just purchased eSight and put it to the test immediately. I used it 8 hours a day, every day to read, write and edit.”
Meagan, eSight user since 2015, freelance journalist, 32 years old, retinopathy of prematurity
eSight 4 All Levels of School

Zara, 10 years old, grade 4, Leber congenital amaurosis
Watch Zara’s eSight journey“eSight helps me at home and school. At home I now watch TV sitting a full six feet away without straining my eyes. At school, I can see the whiteboard without special seating accommodations.”
Austin, 16 years old, High School Student, nystagmus
“eSight has dramatically improved my educational experience. I passed my first semester of college, and without eSight, I have no idea how I would have done it. With eSight.”
Jesse, Age 21, retinopathy of prematurity (ROP)
eSight 4 Play
“With eSight 4 I’m doing things I couldn’t do before, like golfing independently. eSight 4 is comfortable to wear and the contrast between the grass and the yellow ball is incredible. My first game out with it, I was able to sink some putts and make some pretty good drives. I no longer need help to find my ball after each shot. The idea of golfing by myself is now a real possibility.”
Christopher, Product Manager, Stargardt’s disease, 37 years old Natural Visual Acuity: 20/600, Visual Acuity with eSight: 20/30
eSight 4 Exploring New Places
“eSight offers real freedom and flexibility beyond that of any other assistive technology. I live in a big city and without eSight, navigating street signs and building numbers is hard – I need to go right up close. With my eSight, I simply zoom in and know if I’m heading in the right direction. And because I maintain access to my peripheral vision, even when the bioptic tilt is down, I stay mindful of people and objects around me. eSight’s unique design prevents a tunnel vision experience: you can see what’s in front of you and what’s around you too.”
Jason, eSight Wearer since 2015, 41 years old, Stargardt’s disease
eSight is clinically validated and trusted by experts.
Helping people with low vision see new possibilities
My hope is for a world where people who are legally blind are employed at the same rate and a comparable capacity to sighted people. With eSight, children and young adults with low vision can advance in school and go on to excel in the workplace. A world with more visually impaired doctors, engineers, lawyers, and entrepreneurs like myself is possible. A world where the visually impaired can reach their full potential. I encourage fellow eSight users to wear their eSight proudly, be open to conversations, pursue their goals, and help the sighted world see our abilities.
Roger Deo
eSight Wearer since 2016, 39 years old, Former University Lecturer, Currently a Technology Startup Founder, Myopia
I look at eSight 4 and I see a product that thoughtfully integrates all of the constructive feedback I provided when evaluating eSight 3. eSight clearly stayed obsessed with the problem they are trying to solve. I see a company with the vision and determination to get the hard part right: a device that not only provides sight but fits into the wearer’s life offering the comfort and mobility to do things they couldn’t do before.
