The eSight Scholarship Program
eSight awarded 5 students eSight electronic glasses.
Clinically-validated, eSight is used daily by thousands of people with low vision to achieve dramatically enhanced vision.
eSight Scholarship Program Winners
In September 2020, 5 students were awarded an eSight 3 to help them better navigate their post-secondary education.
Winners were selected based on an essay, two reference letters and an eSight evaluation to ensure the medical devices are a fit for their eye conditions.
eSight is clinically validated and used by thousands of people with Stargardt’s disease, Optic Atrophy, and other eye conditions.
Meet Jesse, a college student and eSight user
“eSight has dramatically improved my educational experience. I passed my first semester of college, and without eSight, I have no idea how I would have done it. With eSight, I cannot only see the board better, but I can actually use the device’s camera to take pictures of it!”
How eSight works
eSight works by stimulating the synaptic activity in the remaining photoreceptors which can provide the brain with increased visual information. In fact, the clinical validation study proved that eSight can help users gain a seven-line gain on the doctor’s eye chart, keep your mobility and improve contrast.
A small, high-speed, high-definition camera captures everything the wearer is looking at.
Advanced, clinically-validated algorithms optimize and enhance the footage.
The footage is presented on two near-to-eye screens in real time with stunning clarity.
The built-in trackpad allows for touch vision controls like zoom and contrast.
The wireless remote controller or mobile apps for even more advanced capabilities.
