eSight Surprises 9-Year-Old With Vision Device During Visit to SEA LIFE at Mall of America
BLOOMINGTON, MN – August 12, 2021 – Sarah Hennesey, a 9-year-old who is legally blind, just got the surprise of a lifetime! During a visit to SEA LIFE at Mall of America, she saw sharks, rescued sea turtles, and more, clearly for the first time, by using the recently released eSight 4 medical device. She was then surprised to find out the eSight 4 isn’t just a demonstration unit but hers to own for life! Wearing this breakthrough technology allows her to go from legally blind, which is vision less than 20/200, to 20/25 vision.
As Hennesey tested the new device, her family from Lewiston, MN, were told they would receive a VIP tour of SEA LIFE at Mall of America while she could use eSight 4 during their visit. When they were walking through the underwater ocean tunnel to see the sharks and sea turtles, Hennesey was surprised and overjoyed by a diver and their underwater sign telling her the surprise of a lifetime: the medical device was hers to keep!
